LOCAL EVENTS – SPRING 2022
Since we are always encouraging club members to be creative with their filmmaking, there is also the small matter of collating footage our annual newsreel. This page will list any upcoming local events of interest in the hope some of you will be able to pop along and capture something worthy to share with the public via the newsreel at our Spring public show.

Sunday 12th June 2022 –Bromley Pageant of Motoring – Norman Park, Bromley 9:30am-17.00pm

The Bromley Pageant of Motoring is established as something of an institution amongst enthusiasts from all over the world.
Where else would you find more than 3,000 classic cars in one place? It is a superb celebration of all things motoring and provides one of the best opportunities available to soak up Bromley’s unique atmosphere of friendly club stands, displays and fellow enthusiasts.
The Bromley Pageant is famous for its one-make section where vehicles of each make and model can be entered and parked together. From Ford Cortina’s to Aston Martin’s, more than 1000 cars featured in this area the last time the event was held!
With car clubs, our famous One Make Parking, a packed trade area, autojumble, live action arena including The Tigers Motorcycle Display Team, the worlds smallest car and a record breaking solar car, funfair and inflatables, come along and join us for a brilliant day jam-packed full of fun for all the family!
Saturday 25th June 2022 – St Giles Garden Party and Fete – Church Road, Farnborough – 10.30am
Great food and drink, cakes and marmalade. Stalls and games. Punch & Judy performances. Listen to the Sevenoaks & Tonbridge Band and the Rock Choir. Watch the children from Dance Off Studio.I am delighted to say that after an absence of two years this year’s Rectory Garden Fete is going ahead at the later date of Saturday 25th June.

Saturday August 6th 2022 -Priory Live Music Festival – Priory Gardens, Orpington
Priory Live music festival in Orpington Saturday 6th August celebrates original, creative, and diverse artists with the spirit to step out of the box. Described as “A love letter to music” headlined by Scouting For Girls.
10 Hours of fantastic original quality and diverse music, with 2 stages, a market for creative makers, a great choice of street foods, kids zone with rides, activities, circus and music workshops and a fantastic festival ending fireworks.
