In April 2011, several members of OVFM won prizes at the Frome 5 Minute Festival.
The overall winner of the competition was Huey Walker from Tiverton in Devon with his film ‘Susie The Spider’.

Quite a clever little film that must have taken considerable thought and planning. I enjoy watching other folks work, particularly when their film it is short, well shot with clear sound and narration. It was a treat to hear the twang of the guitar playing in time as though the spider was plucking the web strings. The song, music and words all worked well for me, as did the title. A word of warning though – not to be watched by those who have ARACHNOPHOBIA
